I got my car back yesterday from the body shop. It looks awesome, I couldn't be happier with the job they did. Its nice to finally be done with the rental escape hybrid. My car is so mush faster than that one.
My mom just told me that she read my blog and that it is depressing and sounds like I do not want to have a baby. For anyone else that agrees with her I will clear things up. Having a baby is the most exciting thing I have ever done. But that does not mean that everything is going to go or is currently going perfect. I wanted this blog to be more of a journal of all the things that I went through during my pregnancy. I have mentioned earlier that this is going to be made into a book. I think it is pretty cool that Layla will know how I was feeling, the things I went though, stuff I ate, books I read, movies I saw. Just life in general before she got here. Maybe it will be comforting to her when she is pregnant. Knowing that things aren't always going to be great. That's life! And I am not afraid to tell it how it is.
I have started my baby registries. I have one at Pottery Barn Kids, Babies R Us and Target. Babies r Us has a great selection of organic products.
We have also set up the bare bones in Layla's room . We put the crib together that my Uncle gave to us along with the layout of the dresser, book shelf and glider. My mom and step dad came to help with that.
Last weekend was super busy with my sisters 24th birthday on Friday followed by a surprise party after dinner, Chris's installation dinner at gun club, where he became the vice president and Willy and Nicks combined dinner party at Chris's moms house with all the family. But of course for us the fun never stops! This weekend we are going out to Dumont for Chris's dads birthday. We are taking Mali so I will be crossing my fingers that everything goes smoothly. Tonight Chris has a double header soft ball game. I'm just not sure how Layla's even going to be able to do anything. We are already so busy.
