Chris and I had the day off together yesterday. We went down to Pasadena to Pottery Barn Kids to check out what they had for our registry. We found a lot of things we liked and some things we thought we could recreate at home. The fist picture is some personalized bath supplies in the garden theme that we are going for.
This picture is of things that we thought we could make at home. Chris would like to make the changing table himself. I liked the one that included space for baskets. I also thought it would be nice to have a play cradle that has Layla's name on it and her birth weight. The flower lamp and flower chandelier should be pretty easy to make at home.
I like the pretty flower wreath over the crib in this picture. I think I would like to incorporate a little more of a color pallet then just pinks. But I do like the accent of flowers to the bug theme. More of a garden theme.
We saw this kitchen set and just thought it was the cutest thing ever! I love the soft pink color and retro style.
Here are some more flower prints that they offer and some ideas for rugs. They didn't have much for the bugs we want in the room.
I really likes these curtain rods and decorations. The idea of having a sold and then a print was really pretty too.

I really like the butterfly pulls on the changing table and the butterfly towel.
I thought it would be super cute to try to incorporate a beautiful canape over the crib or dresser maybe. They are flowers and it would be cute to but the bugs flying around it.
These are some of the baby essentials. I do like the thought of having things personalized.
This is just an other idea for curtains.
