My doctors appointment was yesterday. He said I am 1cm dilated. It is really uncomfortable to do anything right now. My knuckles and hands are so swollen. Today I slept a lot. At the beginning of the week I got everything done for the baby. I did all the laundry, cleaned the house, including the refrigerator, and moved our bed room around so that we could fit the cradle in there. We ended up putting Mali's kennel in our closet. It works out great. All of the dog books that we have read said that the dog should be removed from the same room as the baby and now its kinda like she has her only little space and we can hid the kennel when we have company over.
We are just playing the waiting game right now. I am hoping that things do not start happening until next Monday. Our family will be back from New Jersey and my sisters will be in town. I am glad that I am not at work, but it is really boring by myself right now. I am looking forward to having Layla to be with and take care of. But until that comes I am definitely taking advantage of the extra naps and relaxing days.
